Location: the hotel was close to the fish market which actually includes an extensive general covered market, shopping area, and cool restaurants...

I loved everything about this hotel! The room was lovely, clean, and very quiet. The location was perfect, close to the Nijo castle and transportation. It was just a short walk to the main street where I could catch buses to all the popular tourist attractions. The breakfast provided by the hotel staff was delicious and the portions were generous. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure that all my needs were taken care of. I felt well looked after during my stay.
